Lead Pastor Ron Jones
Ron Jones is a pastor, Bible teacher, author, speaker, and discipleship coach with more than 30 years of experience in local church ministry. Since 2015, he has served as the lead pastor of Crossway Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where he delivers practical, Bible-centered teaching designed to help people apply God's Word to everyday life.
Ron's ministry reaches far beyond the walls of his church through Something Good with Dr. Ron Jones, a daily radio broadcast heard around the world. Launched in 2011, Something Good Radio exists to share the love of Jesus Christ, make disciples, and strengthen the body of Christ through transformative Bible teaching.
A lifelong learner, Dr. Jones holds degrees from Purdue University, Dallas Theological Seminary, and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the author of The Ultimate Road Trip Through the Bible (Volumes 1 and 2), Mysteries of the Afterlife: Exploring Its Amazing Secrets, and The Jesus Way to Pray: An Intimate Journey Through the Lord’s Prayer.
Together with his wife, Cathryn, Ron also leads spiritual tours to biblical sites across Israel, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, and Jordan through Something Good Travel. Married for over 30 years, the Joneses live just five minutes from their happy place—the beach—and are the proud parents of two adult children.
